I've searched this pretty thoroughly and cannot find an answer. I am trying to run a macro with VBA to pull emails from my inbox to excel. This code needs the outlook object library. However, when I go to Tools > References, Outlook Object Library is missing. I do not mean it says "Missing" in front of it like I have seen in some cases, I mean it simply is not there.
Excel Vba Missing Microsoft Outlook 14.0 Object Library
I saw that late binding might be an option but I am really new at this. My code is one I got from an online tutorial and while I have been trying to read enough to change my code I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. Ideally I could keep the code and find a way to enable the outlook object library. Everything online says as long as I have outlook installed I should have the library but it just doesn't exist.
I have a macro to import data from Access to Excel. One component of the import is to prompt the user to see if they would like to email the workbook. If yes, then a new email opens with the workbook attached. To accomplish this, I referenced the Outlook 14.0 object library.
Occasionally, the problem is not solved until you unregister the library and re-register it. Uncheck the missing library in Access. Close Access. Issue this command, and then the one above to re-register it: regsvr32 -u "c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\dao\dao360.dll"Re-register it (as above). Open Access, and select the library reference again.
A friend of mine is missing the Microsoft Office XX.0 Object Library. He has office 2016 installed. He is using a code that I generated to export a bill of materials from Inventor to excel. A reference to the Microsoft Office XX.0 Object Library is required. This object Library is not present in the References window (VBA>Tools>References). Is there a way to download another/find in his directory?. Would I be able to give him a copy of my object library? If so, what would be the filename for the library?
I figured it out though. The main issue I was having was determining the location and name of the dll file. For me, the object library was only missing from the references window while using vba editor in Inventor. When I open up excel and pull up its vba window, the object library was not missing from the list. 2ff7e9595c
